When engaging in a new project, Focus Care draws on its proprietary database of nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) for recruitment, training and deployment. Our providers are among the most highly trained and experienced in the industry. Since they are Focus Care employees - not part-time staff - our community-based nurses are highly accountable, dependable and effective. The majority of our advanced nurse providers hold specialty certifications in Geriatric Care, Case Management, Family Health, or Emergency Care. They are poised to serve in a coordinative capacity with your plan, your providers, and your members. Focus Care’s advanced nurses are located in every state, and are deployable within 4-6 weeks of project launch. Focus Care’s NPs average 7-10 years of prior nursing experience. All nurses are trained in HIPAA, HCC documentation and HRA administration, and have recently practiced in acute care/clinical care settings. Focus Care has the demonstrated ability and experience to establish a new network of 50 or more providers in any state within six weeks.
